Chocolate potato candy recipe is another no sweat recipe. It’s very easy, there’s no need for baking or cooking, and it’s simply mixing up all the ingredients. These potato candies are coated with rich melted chocolate and best when they are chilled. Imagining these makes your mouth water. These can be served as perfect desserts!
Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter (240 ml)
  • 3/4 cup mashed potatoes (180 g)
  • 2 lbs confectioners’ sugar (910 g)
  • 10 ounces sweetened coconut (285 g)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extracts (10 ml)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (2.5 g)
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips (340 g)
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate squares (57 g)
  • 1/2 paraffin wax block (also called baking wax)
Instructions
  1. Heat butter in skillet over low heat to melt.
  2. In a mixing bowl, stir in butter to potatoes, and then add sugar, coconut, vanilla and salt.
  3. Wash hands and use your clean hands to mix thoroughly.
  4. Roll mixture into small balls or ovals.
  5. Keep rolls into the fridge while preparing for the chocolate dip.
  6. In making the chocolate dip, melt chocolate chips and chocolate squares in a double boiler.
  7. Dip each potato candy into melted chocolate and place them on waxed paper to harden.
  8. Arrange candies in an air-tight container and refrigerate to chill.
  9. Serve and Enjoy!
Notes And Extra Tips

Top each candy with a toasted almond and serve with a glass of warm milk.
