Here, we have another unique recipe; Orange Potato Bread is probably new to our taste buds. The sweet, rich and a little bit sour taste make this bread very addicting. This recipe is very simple and basic, there’s no need to rate its difficulty. The orange aroma is another plus to this recipe! It’s really one of the best!
Ingredients
  • 2¾ cups all-purpose flour, sifted (300 g)
  • 2½ teaspoons baking powder (12.5 g)
  • ¾ teaspoon salt (3.75 g)
  • 1 tablespoon salad oil (15 ml)
  • 1¼ cups fresh orange juice (300 ml)
  • 1 cup sugar (200 g)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda (5 g)
  • 1 egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla (2.5 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon orange rind, Grated (15 g)
  • ½ cup nuts, chopped (150 g)
  • ⅔ cup potato, Riced, cooked (150 g)
Instructions
  1. Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.
  2. In small bowl, whip egg with oil, orange juice, orange rind and vanilla.
  3. Stir in prepared potatoes into the mixture.
  4. Blend orange mixture all at once to dry ingredients and stir to mix well; Add chopped nuts.
  5. Place into a greased 9x5x3 loaf pan.
  6. Bake in 325 degrees F oven for 60 minutes or until cake tester inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool for 10 min.
  8. Remove from pan and cool completely.
  9. Serve and Enjoy!
