This is a potato pie recipe that’s very rewarding. Without doubt everyone would love its end result, a cheesy, starchy, delicious pie. Potatoes and cheese never fail to become everyone’s favorite for desserts and snacks. Obviously, their combination is always delicious and fulfilling to the stomach. The best thing about this recipe is that it’s very easy, only simple baking skills are required. It’s healthy, oil free and easily done in an hour. Serve Cheese potato pie as main dish for breakfast or as dessert for any meal of the day. Now, here’s how to make it.
Ingredients
  • 2 cups shredded hash browns (450 g)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (100 g)
  • ½ cup shredded Monterey jack cheese (50 g)
  • 1 tsp. salt, divided (5 g)
  • 5 eggs
  • ½ cup milk (120 ml)
Instructions
  1. First, preheat the oven to 350°F
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine potatoes with ½ cup cheddar cheese and ½ teaspoon salt. Mix well.
  3. Press this mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9-inch pie plate.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat together eggs and milk.
  5. Add the remaining cheeses and salt. Mix thoroughly and then pour over potato crust.
  6. Bake for 50 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
  7. Let it stand for 5 minutes before slicing.
  8. Slice the pie, serve and enjoy!
